1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, placing an order, booking catering, or otherwise interacting with The Grateful Gourmet, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, no hard feelings — just don’t use the service.

2. Service Scope & Bookings

We provide catering services, charcuterie boards, food for events, and in-house bistro service

For catering orders: we’ll send a proposal + contract; a deposit may be required

We reserve the right to refuse service (we just want folks who get the vibe)

3. Menu & Food Safety

Menus are subject to change depending on ingredient availability

All food is prepared according to health, safety, and sanitary standards required by NJ laws and local health departments

You must notify us in advance of any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or sensitivities — we’ll try, but we can’t guarantee total cross-contamination-free results

Once food is delivered or picked up, we are not liable for spoilage due to improper storage or delayed consumption

4. Payments & Pricing

Prices quoted are based on event timeline, estimated number of guests, seasonal items, and labor and prep time. 

A deposit is required to confirm catering orders

Payment in full is due by a specified date (often before or on the day of the event)

Any extra costs (e.g. travel, staffing, cleanup) will be clearly noted

If a check bounces or payment fails, fees may apply

5. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds

If you cancel within a certain window (e.g. 2 weeks out), partial/full refund minus costs

If you change menu items or guest count, notify us early; fees may apply

In case of force majeure (weather, emergency), we’ll work with you to reschedule or refund

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this site (text, images, design, logos) is owned by The Grateful Gourmet (or licensed). You can’t use it without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

We do our absolute best, but we’re humans — so we can’t be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims or losses arising from your misuse of our services, failure to disclose allergies, or violation of these terms.”

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Burlington County, NJ.
