In 2017, Desi bought a vintage Shasta trailer on a whim and started dreaming of a food truck. What initially started as a side hustle become the real deal when 2020 hit, and The Grateful Gourmet took off rockin’ and rollin’ and road trippin’ serving good food all over The Garden State.

How our food truck got rollin’
From start to finish, it was a pleasure working with Desi! She helped craft a menu that paid great attention to our dietary restrictions while also keeping with our Low Country theme! Her food is outrageously delicious and our guests went back for seconds and thirds! The line moved quickly and the presentation was beautiful! People are still talking about how fantastic the food was and such a cute camper! I can highly recommend Desi and her adorable camper for any function you want to take to the next level!

“The Truck Came Rolling In!”
If I could give Desiree and her team 100 stars I would. She was a pleasure to work with as we coordinated our son's backyard wedding at the shore. They accommodated all our dietary requests and restrictions, from gluten-free to vegan and anything in between. So many guests raved about the food, saying that it was the best wedding food that they've had. The servers were all pleasant and did an excellent job serving 100 guests. I highly recommend The Grateful Gourmet food truck.
